My great-grandmother was Anna Elizabeth Thuente, second 
wife of Johann Josef Tekippe; her descendants can be 
followed under the Tekippe line.  But her father 
Johann Bernard Tuent and her brother Franz Engelbert 
Thuente also came to the U.S. to found the Thuente
