PRCCC Web site has been minimal. We were knocked off the Internet for several months due to infrastructure damage to our Providers Network. We have been up and running again for the past six months and hope to continue as long as its possible. |

These devices are called Thumb or Jump Drives. They are essentially mini hard drives but without the moving parts. Most are smaller than a cigarette lighter and plug into a USB port. If you are running W2000 or XP an upside is the driver is built into the device, W98 requires a drive install from a disk but its typically provided. They come in all storage sized from 16mb to 4gb priced from $5 to $4000 dollars! This obsoletes Floppy drives! |

Viruses and Trojans being sent by e-mail is on the rise again. And again the email text associated with the attachments is becoming more sophisticated and enticing, designed to lure you in. Unless you are waiting on the attachment and or have a high level of trust in the source, overcome the temptation and DELETE any attached files immediately! |

The reaction is mixed and to either extreme. The operating system does appear to be more stable than its predecessors yet its hard wired features seem to present the typical tweaker with insurmountable customization challenges. Many are ripping out the OS and returning to W98SE. |
