Did you fail the Firewall Intelligence test? Based on the large number of popnotes we receive from new users who do not receive back an echo of what they sent, it certainly would appear so. Pass the intelligence test now.

(1) Most new DSL Modems have rudimentary firewalls. You must configure them to enable DMZ or Port Follow-through mode. (see *Help)

(2) If you use a Router, the PC's node must be configured for Port Forwarding of UDP 54538 and 54539 or enable DMZ. (see *Help)

(3) If you are using Windows XP SP2 or SP3 or Vista, you must opt to enable an exception (disable blocking) when the security alert pops up for PopNote. (see *Help)
